It seems that the Turkish club Trabzonspor was not satisfied with signing the Egyptian international star Mohamed Salah, as it plans to add a resounding deal in the midfield position, in the current summer mercato.
Salah joined Trabzonspor for two seasons until 2028, in a free transfer deal, after a career full of individual and collective achievements with English Liverpool.
Trabzonspor fans celebrated Salah's arrival through a massive presentation ceremony, which began at Trabzon Airport amid a grand reception from the fans, before the celebrations continued inside "Papara Park" stadium.
Trabzonspor targets Leandro Paredes
According to what Turkish journalist Mohamed Yilmaz mentioned, via the Turkish channel "HT Spor", Trabzonspor club contacted the agent of Argentine international Leandro Paredes, to try to sign him.
The journalist specializing in transfer market news added: "Regarding Paredes, his agent was contacted regarding signing the player on loan or permanently buying from Argentine club Boca Juniors."
He continued during his statements: "But what is the final step? Of course, this is something that will be discussed later, given Trabzonspor's search for more than one player to strengthen this position."
Yilmaz concluded that: "Lorenzo Pellegrini, the Italian Roma midfielder, rejected the offer to move to Trabzonspor, and therefore player agents offered Yves Bissouma to Trabzonspor."
Paredes is 32 years old, and has great experience at the European and international levels, after playing 460 matches during his career, during which he scored 38 goals and provided 48 decisive passes.
In addition, Paredes is considered one of the pillars of the Argentine national team midfield, and is one of the most prominent defensive midfielders in the world, thanks to his great experience and ability to play in more than one position within the midfield.
