Trabzonspor team, led by coach Fatih Tekke, is preparing to play its first match in the Turkish Football League, 2026/27 season, next Saturday, with the presence of the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah.
Mohamed Salah joined Trabzonspor last Thursday, after signing an official contract valid until June 2028.
Mohamed Salah did not participate in the friendly match between Trabzonspor and Göztepe yesterday evening, where his new team lost two goals to one.
Coach Fatih Tekke was asked about the possibility of Mohamed Salah participating in the Trabzonspor and Kasımpaşa match next Saturday, at the beginning of their journey in the Turkish League.

Fatih Tekke did not give a clear and definitive answer regarding that matter, as he confirmed that it is still unclear whether the former Liverpool legend will participate in the Trabzonspor and Kasımpaşa match or not.
It is likely that matters will become clearer more precisely next Friday, in the last training session in preparation for the start of Trabzonspor's journey in the Turkish League season.
