Trabzonspor technical director Fatih Tekke praised the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah after he officially joined the Turkish club last Thursday, as part of a free transfer deal.
Mohamed Salah joined Trabzonspor after signing a contract valid for two years, until 2028.
Fatih Tekke said, in statements published by the Turkish network "Hurriyet": "For me, Mohamed Salah is among the top three names in the world, possessing a football career that ranks among the most important in the history of the English Premier League".

He added: "Just having his name linked to Trabzonspor is a big gain. He is with us today. Football cannot be decided by talking or raising expectations, or even relying on one person only".
Tekke continued his statements: "A world star like Mohamed Salah is capable of raising our morale and can give us confidence".
