Tottenham stated on its website: "We are pleased to announce the signing of Tosin Adarabioyo to our squad."

Tosin told his new club's website: "I am at an important stage in my football career, and after speaking with the manager and learning about the style of play he prefers, I believe I am a perfect fit for this team."

He added, "The manager wants the team to play with courage, and that is what I always strive for."

He continued, "I want to achieve the best results and push this team and this club to the limit to reach the status we deserve."

He concluded, "This is what must be done every day, especially in training, and I will bring this mentality to the club."

Tosin, who was born in London, began his early football career with Manchester City, joining the club at the age of five. He progressed through the team's ranks and regularly captained the Under-18 team at just sixteen years old.

He made his first-team debut in February 2016 in an FA Cup match against Chelsea.

He became the youngest player in Manchester City's history to start a European match at the age of nineteen, having made eight appearances for the first team.

He then moved on loan to West Bromwich Albion for the 2018/19 season, where he made 36 appearances for the team and contributed to their progression to the Championship playoffs.

The following season, he moved on loan again, this time to Blackburn Rovers, where he made another 35 first-team appearances, scoring three goals.

Tosin, a physically strong defender, finally left Manchester City in October 2020, moving to Fulham, where he made 33 Premier League appearances in his first season at Craven Cottage.

He was a key player in the team that achieved promotion to the Premier League on the first attempt in the 2021/22 season, making 132 appearances for Fulham and scoring five goals over four years.

In July 2024, Tosin moved to Chelsea. He scored his first goal for the Blues in a UEFA Europa Conference League match in November 2024, a competition the team won at the end of that season, and he was named in the team of the tournament.

In his first season at Stamford Bridge, he made 41 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals, and was part of the Blues' squad that won the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, making four appearances during the tournament.

Tosin wore the Chelsea captain's armband for the first time in October 2025 in an EFL Cup match, and has made 70 appearances for the London club, scoring seven goals.

Internationally, Tosin represented England at various age levels up to the Under-19 team.
