English club Liverpool announced the signing of French player Djylian N'Guessan from Saint-Etienne, effective from January 2027.

The player will spend the second half of the season on loan at French club Brest, before joining the Reds from the next season onwards.
According to reports, the transfer cost Liverpool approximately 5 million euros.
The 18-year-old N'Guessan has made 13 appearances for French club Saint-Etienne and scored one goal since his debut in January 2025.
In the colors of the French youth national team, he contributed to finishing fourth in the U20 World Cup last year.
He was also named Player of the Tournament at the U17 European Championship after scoring four goals.

Liverpool announced its European squad, preparing to participate in the Champions League this season.
Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola excluded Federico Chiesa and Wataru Endo from the squad participating in the Champions League.
Meanwhile, he registered Giovanni Leoni, Conor Bradley, and Hugo Ekitike in the squad for the competition.
