Journalistic reports revealed a strange stance from the White House regarding the Argentine national team before the anticipated World Cup final on Sunday evening against its counterpart, the Spanish national team.
The "New York New Jersey" stadium hosts the World Cup final, 2026 edition, between Argentina and Spain tomorrow evening.
The global "Sky Sports" network mentioned that the Argentine national team received the green light from the White House team, affiliated with FIFA, regarding what to do if they win the World Cup tomorrow.
It explained that the Argentine national team has the permission to raise the "Falkland Islands are Argentine" flag on the stadium floor tomorrow, if they are crowned with the World Cup title.
It pointed out that the head of the White House team, Andrew Giuliani, believes that the Argentine national team players have the right to express their opinions.
This comes after a number of Argentine players raised the mentioned flag after their exciting victory over England last Wednesday evening, in the World Cup semi-final.
The British government demanded the punishment of the Argentine duo, Cristian Romero and Giovani Lo Celso, for raising the flag, due to the famous political disputes between the two countries as a result of the 1982 Falklands War.
