External press reports have revealed the imminent transfer of Nadir Ben Bouali, the star of Hungarian Győr ETO, to Pyramids during the current summer transfer window.
The Algerian newspaper Vinik reported that Nadir Ben Bouali is close to permanently leaving his team Győr ETO this summer, as he will move to the ranks of Pyramids in a record deal.
The report indicated that negotiations between the Győr ETO management and Pyramids officials have seen rapid developments in recent hours, amid the Egyptian club's insistence on concluding the deal for the Algerian striker.
According to the report, the total value of the deal amounts to about 3.5 million euros, while the Algerian striker is expected to undergo a medical examination in the coming hours, paving the way for his official transfer to the Egyptian league.
Ben Bouali is 26 years old and has previously spent two seasons with Győr ETO, the first of which was on loan, after starting his career at the Algerian academy of Paradou and also playing for Belgian side Charleroi.
Ben Bouali delivered a standout scoring season, netting 19 goals across various competitions, earning him a call-up to the Algerian national team, with whom he participated in the 2026 World Cup and scored a goal against Jordan.
The report concluded: "Ben Bouali had attracted interest from several European and regional clubs, but the Algerian striker ultimately chose Pyramids, as he seeks to continue his scoring form and establish himself as a key attacking element for the team in the upcoming period."
Should his transfer to Pyramids be completed, Nadir Ben Bouali would become the second Algerian striker in the Egyptian Premier League next season, following Al Ahly's signing of his compatriot Mounsef Bekkar from Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb.
