External press reports have revealed developments regarding the transfer deal of Nadir Ben Bouali, the Hungarian Győr ETO player, to the Pyramids squad during the ongoing summer transfer window.
The Algerian newspaper DZFoot reported that Pyramids is close to officially announcing its signing of the Algerian Nadir Ben Bouali this summer, after reaching a final agreement on the deal.
The report indicated that Pyramids has reached a full agreement with Győr to sign the Algerian international striker, and all three parties have agreed on all terms of the transfer, bringing the deal to the brink of an official announcement in the coming hours.
The newspaper confirmed other press reports that the deal is worth around $3.5 million, reflecting the rise in the Algerian striker’s market value after his standout performances with his Hungarian club last season.
The report clarified that Ben Bouali has begun medical examination procedures in preparation for completing his transfer, having undergone the first part of the medical tests yesterday, Thursday, with the remaining tests to be completed today, Friday, before signing the contracts and the official announcement of the deal.
Pyramids’ attempts to sign Ben Bouali come as part of the club’s efforts to bolster its attacking line, especially after the departure of its Congolese striker Fiston Mayele on a free transfer following the end of his contract at the conclusion of last season.
Ben Bouali is 26 years old and delivered an exceptional season with Győr ETO, scoring 19 goals and providing 4 assists, making him one of the standout strikers in the Hungarian league. His performances also earned him a place with the Algerian national team, with whom he participated in the 2026 World Cup and scored a goal against Jordan.
It is worth noting that Pyramids announced yesterday evening, Thursday, the signing of Ahmed Abdel Qader, the winger from Iraqi club Al-Karma, who has previously represented Al Ahly.
