He began his professional career with Charlton Athletic, making his first-team debut in 2016, before quickly establishing himself as one of the club's most prominent young defenders.

Konsa moved to Brentford in 2018, and after an impressive season with the team during 2018–2019, he transferred to Aston Villa in the summer of 2019 to begin his journey in the English Premier League.
During his time with Aston Villa, Konsa played 286 matches, scoring 12 goals and providing 4 assists.
In the summer transfer window, Arsenal officially added Bruno Guimarães, Elan Mileh, Christos Tzolis, and activated the buyout clause for Piero Hincapié from Bayer Leverkusen.
Arsenal opened their season by winning the Community Shield, defeating Manchester City 3–0.
They finished last season as champions of the English Premier League, seven points ahead of second-placed Manchester City.
