A source within the Egyptian Football Association revealed details of the agreement with Hossam Hassan, the national team’s head coach, regarding the renewal of his contract.
The source confirmed in a statement to Yalla Kora that an agreement has been reached with the Egyptian national team’s technical staff, led by Hossam Hassan, on all matters concerning the contract renewal until 2030.
The source clarified that Hossam Hassan’s monthly salary, which was one million pounds, will increase by a rate exceeding 150%, a higher percentage than that of the rest of the staff.
The source added: “The salaries of the remaining members of the technical staff will be increased by 100%.”
He continued: “There are details in the contract related to reaching the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations and qualifying for the 2030 World Cup.”
The source concluded his statement by noting that the new contracts for the national team have not yet been signed, adding that the matter will be resolved within hours.
