The Football Association signs a contract for the coach of the Talented Development Program in Egypt.

The Egyptian Football Association signed a contract to appoint the FIFA talent coach to lead the talented player development program for those born in 2011.

The Football Association explained in a statement that as part of the FIFA Talent Development Scheme (TDS) project, the Egyptian Football Association received Darryl Willard on Sunday, who was appointed by Arsène Wenger, FIFA's Director of Global Football Development, to work as a talent coach at FIFA.

This is to lead the talented player development program in Egypt for those born in 2011.

The meeting witnessed the signing of Darryl Willard's appointment contract to lead the talented player development program in Egypt, as part of the talent project, with the contract signed on behalf of the Egyptian Football Association by Mustafa Azam, the Secretary-General.

This was in the presence of Walid Darwish, a member of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Football Association and supervisor of the talent development project, and Anthony Baffoe, FIFA representative.

The remaining members of the Football Association's Board of Directors are in the United States with the Egyptian national team participating in the 2026 World Cup.

The meeting also included discussions on technical plans and mechanisms for implementing the next phase of the project, ensuring the application of FIFA's methodology in discovering, nurturing, and developing talents according to the latest standards.
