The Egyptian Football Association has announced the results of the draw for the North African qualifiers for the 2010-born national teams, which will qualify for the African U-17 Cup of Nations to be held in Morocco.
The draw for the North African qualifiers tournament for the 2010-born youth national teams, hosted by Tunisia and serving as a qualifier for the African Cup of Nations in Morocco, was conducted this evening, Wednesday.
The draw resulted in tough matchups for Egypt's 2010-born national team, as the Pharaohs will face Algeria, Libya, and Tunisia, the host nation of the tournament.
The match schedule for Egypt's 2010-born national team in the North African qualifiers is as follows:
Egypt vs. Algeria.. September 26
Egypt vs. Libya.. September 29
Egypt vs. Tunisia October 2.
Egypt's 2010-born national team, led by Abdel Sattar Sabry, is scheduled to travel to Tunisia on September 21 to compete in the African qualifiers, with the team returning on October 3.
Egypt's youth national team will enter a closed training camp at the National Teams Center tomorrow, Thursday, as part of their preparation program for the qualifiers.
In recent hours, the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Football Association, chaired by Hany Abu Rida, approved the technical staff lineup for Egypt's 2010-born national team, with Abdel Sattar Sabry appointed as head coach, assisted by Mohamed El-Yamani, Haitham Hussein, and Haitham Saleh Abdel Gawad.
