A source at Zamalek revealed the club's plan to prepare well for the matches against Zed in the Egypt Capital Cup and Al Ahly in the Premier League.
The source confirmed that Zamalek has decided to hold a training camp for the players participating in the Zed match in the Capital Cup, with another camp planned for the first-team players in preparation for the Al Ahly clash in the summit game.
The source added: "Zamalek will rely on some first-team players along with the best young talents from the youth sector, born in 2007 and 2009, for the Zed match."
He continued: "After the Zed match, several players who participated in that game will join the summit camp."
This comes as Moamen Soliman, Zamalek’s head coach, decided to give Ibrahim Salah the opportunity to lead the team in the Zed match.
The source concluded his statements: "A technical staff led by Ibrahim Salah, assisted by coaches from the youth sector, will be formed to face Zed in the Capital Cup."
Zamalek continues its preparations for the match against Zed, scheduled for October 7 at El Mokawloon Al Arab Stadium, marking the start of the team’s journey in the group stage of the Egypt Capital Cup tournament.
Zamalek will play six matches across various competitions during October, including three Egyptian Premier League fixtures, two CAF Champions League games, and one match in the Egypt Capital Cup.
