Reports circulated about the desire of Libyan club Ahli Benghazi to sign Al Ahly defender Yasser Ibrahim.
"We have not received any offers from Libyan club Ahli Benghazi to sign Yasser Ibrahim. We are keen on keeping the player until the end of the season due to the team's technical need for him, and we await his response to the renewal offer presented to him."
The transfer window in the Libyan league closes on October 6th.
Meanwhile, Yasser Ibrahim's contract with Al Ahly ends at the conclusion of the current season.
A source close to Yasser Ibrahim previously told FilGoal.com: "The player is open to considering any offers presented to him given that he has not yet reached an agreement to renew his contract with Al Ahly."
And FilGoal.com learned that Al Ahly completely refuses to change its stance regarding the renewal files of Mohamed Hany and Yasser Ibrahim, whether by offering concessions outside the contract or canceling the participation percentage clause.
Previously, FilGoal.com revealed that Al Ahly presented the final offer to Yasser Ibrahim, which consists of an annual salary of 25 million Egyptian pounds, plus 10 million Egyptian pounds linked to winning titles with the club.
Yasser Ibrahim suffered an injury during the match against El Mokawloon Al Arab in Matchday 4 of the Egyptian Premier League.
The international defender continues his physiotherapy and rehabilitation program after sustaining a sprain in the inner ligament and a tear in the outer ligament of the ankle, awaiting the final decision on his status for the league summit match against Zamalek.
Al Ahly will play the summit match on October 11th against Zamalek, preceded by a match against Bترول Assiut (Petroleum Assiut) in the first round of the Egypt Capital Cup.
