Diomande's contract with Leipzig extends until summer 2030.
According to Sky Germany, Real Madrid is pressing to conclude the Yan Diomande deal with Leipzig before the team travels to its training camp in Austria next Saturday.
The same reports clarified that Real Madrid held a new round of negotiations with Leipzig today, Thursday.
It indicated that the player is acting professionally and awaiting the two clubs reaching a final agreement.
The German club previously rejected Real Madrid's offer of 100 million euros, so Real Madrid raised its offer to 100 million euros plus 20 million euros in bonuses.
Leipzig insists on receiving 130 million euros to sell its player, whose contract runs until 2030.
If the deal is completed, the Ivorian would be Leipzig's most expensive sale in history, surpassing Josko Gvardiol who joined Manchester City in 2023-24 for 90 million euros.
He would become the fourth most expensive player in Real Madrid's history after Jude Bellingham, Eden Hazard and Gareth Bale.
