The Egyptian Football Association announced the selection of an Egyptian refereeing duo to manage the Ghana vs. Cameroon match in the Women's Africa Cup of Nations.
Morocco is hosting the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations finals from July 26 to August 16.
The Egyptian Association revealed the decision of the main referees committee of the Confederation of African Football to appoint the Egyptian duo Shahenda Al-Maghrabi as field referee and Yara Atef as assistant referee in the match between the Ghana and Cameroon teams in the second round of Group Four competitions.
The match refereeing crew consists of: Egyptian Shahenda Al-Maghrabi as field referee, assisted by Asmaa Ferial as first assistant and Egyptian Yara Atef as second assistant, Zuleikha Hermas as fourth referee, Lahlo Ben Brahim as video assistant referee, and Darsaf Janwati as video assistant referee assistant.
The match is scheduled to be held today, Sunday, at Moulay Rashid Stadium at eight in the evening Cairo time.
The Cameroon and Ghana teams play at the top of Group Four after winning in the first round.
The Ghana team defeated Cape Verde two goals to nil.
While the Cameroon team defeated Mali two goals to one.
