The attention of Saudi football fans is turning to the fiery clash between Al-Ittihad and their counterparts Al-Qadsiah, within the competitions of the Saudi Professional League, this Friday evening.
Prince Saud bin Jalawi Sports City Stadium will host the match between Al-Qadsiah and Al-Ittihad as part of the second round of the Roshn Saudi Professional League for the 2026-2027 season.
Al-Qadsiah enters the match with high morale, having started their league campaign with a 3-1 victory over Al-Shabab, before continuing their impressive results and qualifying for the Round of 16 in the King's Cup following a resounding 5-0 win over Al-Ta'i.
Meanwhile, Al-Ittihad seeks to secure their first league victory of the season, having settled for a 1-1 draw against their rival Al-Kholood in the opening round. They quickly regained their winning form in the King's Cup by defeating Al-Najma in the Round of 32.

Al-Qadsiah succeeded in scoring the first goal against Al-Ittihad in the 24th minute through Mexican striker Julián Quiñones, but after reviewing the Video Assistant Referee (VAR), the referee decided to disallow the goal due to the player being caught offside.
In the 29th minute, Al-Ittihad's goalkeeper, Rajković, successfully saved his goal from a certain score after stopping a shot from an awkward position by the Mexican striker Julián Quiñones.
