The Saudi Al-Ittihad team resumes its collective training tomorrow, Monday, at the club's headquarters after the end of the camp held in Spain last month for 14 days.
"The General" played four friendly matches during the preparation period, achieving victory in one match against Real Mallorca with a score of 4-2.
The Al-Ittihad team drew in a match against its Spanish rival Malaga with a score of 2-2, while losing in two matches against South African Orlando Pirates with a score of 3-2, then against Spanish Las Palmas with a score of 2-1.
According to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiya", the Moroccan quartet Youssef En-Nesyri, Abdulrahman Al-Aboud, Marwan Al-Sahafi, and Farah Al-Shamrani will undergo medical examinations before resuming training.
The newspaper added that the club's medical staff wants to ensure the condition of the quartet before participating in training, given their absence from the last friendly match against Malaga.
The German coach Jens Fising is scheduled to start the preparation program in preparation for the Asian clash against the Emirati Al-Jazira team.
This match will be held on August 11 of this month at "Mohammed bin Zayed" Stadium in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi, as part of the playoff round in the AFC Champions League Elite competition, 2026-2027 season edition.
