Sale of 70% of Al-Hilal Saudi Club's shares for 840 million riyals

Kingdom Holding Company announced the completion of the acquisition of 70% of the shares of Saudi Al-Hilal Club from the Public Investment Fund.

The company confirmed full payment of the deal value amounting to 840 million riyals.

The company, listed on the main stock market via Tadawul, disclosed the completion of the acquisition after fulfilling all conditions related to the deal, obtaining necessary regulatory approvals, and making full payment of the transaction value.

The company clarified that the deal was executed pursuant to a share purchase agreement signed on April 16, 2026, based on an equity valuation of Al-Hilal Club Company at 1.2 billion riyals, representing 100% of the company's total equity.

Kingdom Holding Company confirmed that, as of September 1, 2026, all conditions stipulated in the sale and purchase agreement had been fulfilled, including obtaining necessary regulatory approvals and no-objection certificates, along with meeting all internal requirements, as reported by Okaz newspaper.

It indicated that it had paid 840 million riyals to the Public Investment Fund, representing the value of acquiring a 70% stake in Al-Hilal Club Company, thereby fully completing the transaction.

The company clarified that there are no new costs associated with recent developments, confirming that the deal value remained unchanged, with the financial consideration staying at 840 million riyals, based on an equity valuation of 1.2 billion riyals.

Previously, Kingdom Holding Company had announced signing a share purchase agreement with the Public Investment Fund to acquire a 70% stake in Al-Hilal Club Company.
