Saudi club Al-Dar'iyah has completed the signing of Uruguayan striker Darwin Núñez, who plays for Al-Hilal, after he was close to joining Turkish club Trabzonspor.

Núñez was linked in recent days with joining Mohamed Salah at Trabzonspor, after the two had previously been teammates at Liverpool.

Núñez is the third signing announced by Al-Dar'iyah today, following Algerian Adel Boubakr and Frenchman Enzo Mille.
The 27-year-old Núñez played 24 matches for Al-Hilal across all competitions last season, scoring 9 goals and providing 5 assists.
Núñez and Salah won the English Premier League title with Liverpool in the 2024-2025 season.
Mohamed Salah moved to Trabzonspor in recent days on a two-year contract.
