According to Fabrizio Romano, the transfer market specialist journalist, the deal's value could reach £50 or £55 million, a figure Arsenal has agreed to.
The report clarified that Al-Hilal is awaiting the player's approval to finalize the deal definitively.
Galatasaray had also entered strongly into negotiations to secure the signing of Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli before the end of the summer transfer window, according to reports from The Athletic.
The Brazilian player scored only one goal in the Premier League last season across 30 matches and provided four assists; moreover, he has netted just 15 goals in his last 98 appearances in the competition.

Martinelli missed Arsenal's first Premier League match against Coventry City on Friday as his future with the team was being decided; the Gunners secured a convincing 3-0 victory.
Arsenal is preparing to face Aston Villa next Monday in the second round of the Premier League at Villa Park.
Meanwhile, Al-Hilal has played two rounds in the Saudi League, winning 3-0 against Al-Fayha in the first round and defeating Al-Faisaly 4-2 in the second round.
Al-Hilal is set to face Al-Khaleej next Friday in the third round of the Saudi League.
