Spanish journalist Sergio Valentin revealed the failure of Manchester City's plan to complicate Rodri's transfer deal to the first football team of Real Madrid club during the current summer transfer window.

He stated that Rodri rejected all other offers as he only wants to transfer to Real Madrid.
He mentioned that Rodri agreed with Real Madrid on everything, and that this desire of his helps Real Madrid to get the best possible price.
He stressed that Real Madrid will not give up on Rodri, and the deal is likely to be completed for between 65 and 75 million euros.
