The report further stated that the Spanish manager has expressed strong enthusiasm for making this sports project a success; he is ready to make significant concessions regarding his salary to align with the budget of the Algerian Football Federation, and he is even prepared to appoint an Algerian assistant coach.

Martínez enjoys extensive experience in football, having coached Belgium for six years before spending the last four years with Portugal.
