The Saudi Al-Riyadh Club granted Al-Ahly Club a deadline to finalize the contract with Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, the Red Team player during the summer transfer period.
Al-Riyadh Saudi Club completed its agreement with Al-Ahly, as well as Trezeguet, during the past period to finalize the deal definitively.
According to the Saudi Al-Wiam newspaper, Al-Riyadh Club granted Trezeguet a 72-hour deadline to give the final response regarding the completion of Trezeguet's deal.
The report clarified that Al-Ahly requested to increase the financial compensation to one and a half million dollars to sell Trezeguet, despite initially agreeing to sell the player for one million and two hundred thousand dollars.
The report stated that the matter was met with rejection from Al-Riyadh Club, which granted Al-Ahly a 72-hour deadline before settling the matter definitively and deciding on the deal.
Trezeguet participated with the Egyptian national team in the 2026 World Cup, and managed to score a goal against New Zealand.
Trezeguet had returned to Al-Ahly at the beginning of the past season, after a professional journey that lasted 10 years.
Trezeguet participated in 32 matches with Al-Ahly Club in the concluded season, where he scored 16 goals.
Trezeguet holds a contract with Al-Ahly until June 2031.
