Real Oviedo club issued an official statement in which it addressed a message to its former Egyptian star Haissem Hassan, who announced his transfer to Celtic during the current summer transfer window.
Real Oviedo directed a message to Haissem Hassan through its official website: "Real Oviedo club extends its thanks to the attacking winger for his professionalism, dedication, and loyalty in defending the club's emblem throughout the period he wore the blue jersey, and we wish him all the best and success in this new stage of his professional career".

The statement added: "Haissem Hassan joined Real Oviedo during the summer transfer window for the 2024-2025 season, and this season witnessed a long-awaited promotion to La Liga, with Hassan scoring 4 goals and providing 3 assists in 44 matches".

He continued: "Haissem Hassan, who had previously shone in the World Cup after promotion to the top flight, also played a pivotal role as he made 3 decisive passes during 38 matches".
The statement concluded: "Haissem Hassan concludes his journey as a player in the ranks of Real Oviedo after playing 82 official matches, and after being one of the team's most prominent players during the past two seasons".
