Scottish club Celtic announced its signing of Egyptian Haitham Hassan, via an official statement issued moments ago today, Wednesday, on the club's official website.
Celtic reached an agreement to sign Haitham Hassan from Real Oviedo on a contract extending four years with an option to extend for one additional year.
Haitham Hassan aged 24, shirt number 23 with Celtic, Scottish league champions, according to what the club stated on its official website.

Haitham Hassan drew attention after the standout performance he delivered during his participation with the Egypt national team in the 2026 World Cup.
Several clubs expressed interest in the Egyptian player until Celtic reached an agreement with Real Oviedo to secure Haitham Hassan's services.
Earlier reports stated the transfer fee was £9 million including incentives and bonuses.
