Raúl Jiménez, the Mexican national team striker, sent a challenge message before facing England in the 2026 World Cup.
The English team will play against its Mexican counterpart on the morning of next Monday, as part of the round of 16 matches in the 2026 World Cup.

Jiménez said in statements via FIFA's official website: "We are at the peak of our focus and united, this feeling of solidarity and team spirit drives us towards achieving great accomplishments."
He continued: "We still have another match here in Mexico, and we are fully aware of the importance of this confrontation, we will do our utmost and continue to make the fans happy."
He concluded: "We really have a strong team, and there is a real sense of solidarity since Javier Aguirre took over, there are no limits to our ambitions."
It is worth mentioning that the Mexican team had surpassed Ecuador, with two goals to none, in the round of 32, while the Three Lions defeated the Democratic Republic of the Congo, with a score of 2-1.
