Adrien Rabiot, the Milan player, is confident that he has understood the ideas of Ruben Amorim, the team's new head coach, expressing his happiness to return to the pitch after a rest period following the World Cup.

Rabiot came on as a substitute against Torino and assisted Alfadjo Cissé's goal shortly after entering the match, before scoring the second goal himself two minutes later, leading Milan to a 2-1 victory.
Rabiot told Sky Network: "I am happy to be back, I have seen the coach's ideas, and I also spoke with the president."
He explained, "I played in a similar position under Roberto De Zerbi at Olympique Marseille; I love advancing toward the goal, so I am happy."
Rabiot had been absent since the third-place playoff match against England in the World Cup, after he and his France national team teammate Mike Maignan were granted additional rest days during the summer.
Rabiot's absence from training sparked controversy among Milan fans and the media, before the player quickly responded on the pitch by scoring a goal and providing an assist.
Regarding the rest period, he said: "The World Cup was good; we reached the semifinals although we wanted to win. I needed this break physically and mentally because the season was difficult, especially the way it ended with Milan."
He added, "We asked the coach for two extra days, and he gave us four, so I don't understand all this controversy. But again, this is what always happens in Italy."
On the differences between Amorim's and Max Allegri's approaches, Rabiot said: "My presence is now closer to the goal when we regain possession. This season, we will try to dominate the ball more than our opponents, which will make it easier to create chances, score goals, and provide assists."
He concluded his remarks: "I am happy to return to the pitch after only one week of training. I understood what the coach wants and expects from me, and I am glad I contributed with a goal and an assist."
Milan secured an important 2-1 victory over Torino in the first round of the Italian Serie A.
Milan is preparing to face Venezia in the second round of the Italian Serie A next Friday.
