President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, directed thanks to the national team, after the honorable level presented by the Pharaohs during the 2026 World Cup tournament.
The Egyptian national team bid farewell to the World Cup finals from the round of 16, after losing to Argentina with a score of (3-2), in the match held on the pitch of Atlanta Stadium.
President Sisi's thanks to the team
Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, President of the Republic, published a message via his official account, in which he affirmed his pride in what the Egyptian national team presented in the World Cup tournament.
The President's message came as follows: "Thanks to the heroes of the national football team for the honorable performance, and achieving an unprecedented achievement in the history of Egyptian football".
And he concluded: "We are proud of you and your achievement, and the future is better for you, God willing".
