One of the prominent players in Real Madrid's ranks has officially transferred to the Italian league, in order to begin a new challenge in the upcoming season.
Fiorentina announced its signing of the Argentine Franco Mastantuono, arriving from Real Madrid on loan, according to what the Italian club published in an official statement.
Fiorentina clarified that it signed Franco Mastantuono on loan after obtaining the rights to his sporting services from Real Madrid.
The club added that Mastantuono, born in the city of Azul in Argentina on August 14, 2007, progressed through the youth ranks at River Plate before making his first-team debut at the age of sixteen, and since then he has played 64 matches for River Plate, scoring 10 goals during that time.
The statement noted that Fiorentina's new player participated with Real Madrid during the past season in 35 matches across various competitions, including La Liga, the UEFA Champions League, the Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup, scoring 3 goals in them.
Fiorentina also confirmed that Mastantuono is the youngest player to make his debut with the senior Argentina national team, and he has worn the Tango dancers' jersey on four occasions.
