Press reports have revealed new details regarding Julian Alvarez, the star of Atletico Madrid, after he returned to the club yesterday as part of preparations for the new season, in the context of his desire to depart for Barcelona.
Alvarez enjoyed a vacation after participating in the World Cup with the Argentina national team, where they lost the final to Spain by a goal to nil.
Alvarez returned yesterday to Atletico Madrid to undergo the routine medical examination, in preparation for the new season, knowing that he remains insistent on the idea of leaving for Barcelona this summer.
The Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported that Alvarez erupted in anger yesterday after failing to fulfill his desire to speak with his coach, Diego Simeone, to ask for his help in leaving Atletico Madrid.
It explained that Simeone was not present at the club as he had traveled to Ibiza for a quick vacation, and the executive president of Atletico Madrid, Miguel Angel Gil Marin, was also absent, which caused Alvarez's anger to flare.

It reported that Alvarez warned those present at the training ground yesterday that he would insist on his stance regarding leaving Atletico Madrid, and affirmed that they should not count on his services afterward.
It indicated that Alvarez believes Simeone lacked the courage to speak with him and discuss his issue, as the Argentine did not expect him to travel, especially since everyone knew the player was expected to arrive yesterday with his desire to talk to him.
It confirmed that Alvarez is also fed up with Gil Marin, who happened to be on vacation and not at the club, as he wanted to address his problem through dialogue but failed to do so.
It added that as a result, Alvarez warned those present of his impatience, threatening consequences, as one of his clear messages was (I will not accept this), while his other message was that he would take a firm stance.
Alvarez is scheduled to meet Simeone next Wednesday to begin preparatory training for the new season, and there will be no escaping a joint discussion to find a solution to this fiery crisis.
