Turkish club Fenerbahçe officially announced this Friday evening the signing of Dutchman Nathan Aké, defender of the English team Manchester City.
Fenerbahçe club said in an official statement: "Our club reached an agreement with Nathan Aké, the Dutch national team player, and signed an official contract with him".
He continued: "Our player, who wore the national team jersey in the 2026 World Cup, will join our team in the Austria camp after completing the necessary procedures".

The Dutch player had a contract with Man City until the summer of 2027, and was linked with a move to Inter Milan.
The Dutch star participated in 177 matches with the Citizens, in all competitions, over 6 years, during which he scored 10 goals and provided 3 assists.
The Dutch defender had moved to the Citizens in the summer of 2020, coming from Bournemouth, for 45.30 million euros.
Aké won with the Citizens the English Premier League 4 times, the FA Cup twice, the Carabao Cup twice, the Charity Shield once, the UEFA Champions League once, the UEFA Super Cup once, and the FIFA Club World Cup once.
