Al Ahly Club announced the extension of Taher Mohamed Taher's contract, the first-team player, as part of the Red Castle's policy to retain its players and prepare ahead of the new season.
Al Ahly is currently preparing for the new season under the leadership of Moroccan coach Hussein Ammouta, the technical director of the Red Castle.
Al Ahly clarified in an official statement that Taher Mohamed Taher's contract was extended for an additional two years, keeping him with the team until 2029.
Al Ahly revealed that the contract extension came after a meeting that brought Taher Mohamed Taher together with Wael Gomaa, the club's director of football, and Dr. Essam Sarageldin, head of the contracts sector.
The meeting saw agreement on all terms of the new contract, before completing the administrative and financial procedures for the contract extension.

Taher Mohamed Taher expressed his happiness at extending his contract with Al Ahly, affirming his appreciation for the club and its fans, to whom he owes a great deal.
The player stressed that he will exert his utmost effort alongside his teammates to please Al Ahly fans and achieve the titles and victories that befit the club.
