Al Ahly Club registered all the players in its first squad for the new 2026-27 season.
According to what FilGoal.com learned, technical director Hussein Ammouta requested to see and follow all the players to make the final decisions regarding the squad correctly.

The initial squad includes the players returning from loans, as well as the new signings and the names continuing from last season.

The final squads for the Egyptian League clubs are scheduled to be announced on Saturday, August 15.
This summer, Al Ahly signed Oktay Abdullah and Ali Mahmoud from Enppi.
Meanwhile, Hamza Abdel Karim departed for Barcelona, Aliou Dieng for Valencia, and Mahmoud Hassan "Trezeguet" in a free transfer deal.
Al Ahly has not yet activated the purchase option for Ahmed Ramadan and Marwan Othman from Ceramica Cleopatra.
FilGoal.com learned earlier that Al Ahly is considering adjusting the start date of its training camp in Spain to begin in the first week of August instead of July 31.
If an agreement is reached with Barcelona to play the match, Al Ahly will try to adjust its date to be held earlier, due to the limited time before the start of the Egyptian League.
It will be difficult for Al Ahly to play the match on August 19, then have the Egyptian League kick off on the 20th of the same month.
