Egyptian national team star Mohamed Abdelmonem has returned to participate in training with Stade Nice club, after several weeks of absence from the pitches due to injury, as the French team prepares for the new season.
Mohamed Abdelmonem was injured during Egypt's match against Iran, which was played in the third round of the group stage of the World Cup, held in Mexico, the United States, and Canada.
Nice announced in a statement on the club's official website the return of Mohamed Abdelmonem to training, as the French club said in the statement: "After his participation in the World Cup, where he played 15 minutes with the Egyptian national team, Nice defender Mohamed Abdelmonem has returned to training this week."

Nice's official account on the "X" platform published a video clip from the training sessions, in which Mohamed Abdelmonem appeared running alone during training, alongside the player being present in the gym.
Mohamed Abdelmonem has suffered from numerous injuries since joining Nice two years ago, coming from the ranks of Egyptian club Al Ahly.
Mohamed Abdelmonem hopes to stay away from injuries so he can prove himself with Nice, as the player wishes to continue playing in Europe and not return to Egypt.
