This was the second match for Malian star Alio Dieng, who joined Valencia from Al Ahly, during preparations for the new season.
Valencia coach Carlos Corberán used two different line-ups in the match, with Alio Dieng entering at the start of the second half before scoring his first goal in his new club’s shirt.
Valencia will begin their La Liga season against Celta Vigo in the first round of the 2026-2027 campaign on 22 August.
