Samir Salah, agent of Ahmed Fathouh, revealed that Libyan club Al-Ahli Benghazi has submitted a new offer to Zamalek to sign the player.
Samir Salah said via MBC Masr 2 channel: "Al-Ahli Benghazi sent an offer to Zamalek to sign Ahmed Fathouh for $500,000, but Zamalek requested raising the offer to $700,000."
He added, "The Libyan club sent a new offer to Zamalek and raised it to $700,000, but Zamalek rejected it and requested raising the offer to $1 million for selling Fathouh. Al-Ahli Benghazi then submitted a new offer of $1 million and is awaiting a response from the Whites."
He continued, "Al-Ahli Benghazi also offered Zamalek to loan Fathouh for two seasons for $500,000 if the Whites refuse to sell him."
He completed, "Fathouh is waiting for Zamalek's response, and if Al-Ahli Benghazi's offer is rejected, the player will remain committed to the Whites until the end of his contract."
He clarified, "If Zamalek agrees to loan Fathouh, he will renew his contract for three seasons to play two seasons with Al-Ahli Benghazi, after which he will return to the Whites."
He concluded his statements, "We are waiting for Zamalek's official response, whether approving the sale of Ahmed Fathouh or his loan, and we do not know the club's position yet."
