The Board of Directors of the Egyptian Football Association, chaired by Hany Abou Rida, announced the appointment of Mohamed Abdelmonsef, former Zamalek goalkeeper, as the goalkeeping coach for Egypt's U-17 national team, which is technically led by Wael Ryad.
The Football Association stated in its press release: "The Board of Directors of the Egyptian Football Association, chaired by Hany Abou Rida, has decided to appoint Mohamed Abdelmonsef as the goalkeeping coach for Egypt's U-17 national team, which is technically led by Wael Ryad."
The youth national team is preparing to participate in the North African qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations.
The qualifiers will be held in Egypt, specifically in the city of Ismailia, from September 21 to October 6.
