Mustafa Fathi had suffered a dislocated collarbone injury on April 18 during Pyramids' friendly against Helwan Al-Am Club.
The player underwent surgery and followed a physical therapy and rehabilitation program to return before participating today for the first time in matches as a substitute.
Fathi participated for several minutes in the second half of the friendly against Kuwaiti Al-Arabi at the conclusion of the sky team's friendlies in the Turkish city of Erzurum before traveling to the city of Rize to face Turkish side Rizespor at the end of the preparation camp.
Pyramids took the lead through Abdelrahman Magdy after a wonderful pass from Mahmoud Zalaka, before Kuwaiti Al-Arabi equalized with a long-range shot in the last ten minutes of the first half.
During the second half, Pyramids succeeded in scoring two goals through Ahmed Atef Qatta from a follow-up to a ball by Youssef Obama, then Mustafa Zico added the third goal from a follow-up to a pass by Karim Hafez.
