Portuguese José Mourinho, the technical director of the Spanish Real Madrid team, was present today, Friday, at the sports city "Valdebebas" to lead the preparatory training, in preparation for the new season 2026/2027.
Mourinho had returned to lead Real Madrid, in a second term, following the departure of the young coach Álvaro Arbeloa, after the team presented a modest level, in terms of performance and results.
The Portuguese coach puts his final touches in Real Madrid's sports city, where the preparation period begins on Monday, with comprehensive medical examinations.

In his statements via the "Real Madrid TV" channel, Mourinho expressed his first impressions: "Words are not enough because it is like a mission, it is not related to me or whether I will win a lot or a little".
He added: "I am here to help everyone to be better, the players, the technical staff, creating a work culture, taking responsibility, ambition, and also something I know well, which is the responsibility and honor of working for the benefit of Real Madrid".
He continued: "I love this concept very much, not working at Real Madrid, but working for the benefit of Real Madrid, and this is the spirit that prompted me to be here".
He went on: "We work a lot, it is not that I arrived today and everything started, we have been working a lot for a long time with the club's structure at different levels".
He continued: "Today we can work without being here thanks to the technology that helps us a lot, and today it was about arriving and controlling everything that has been done and what we still have to do".
He completed: "Making positive use of the next two weeks because it is clear that I would have liked to be here with all the players, the matter must be viewed positively, which is getting to know the players I will work with and giving them the opportunity to get to know me".
He concluded: "During the preparation period, many of these players will remain here with Castilla, and I love to participate and help in the growth of this aspect, we are here, and some world champions will arrive, with great confidence and a strong feeling that I love this club, Hala Madrid and nothing more".
