Turkish club Konyaspor played a friendly match against the Palestine national team B side on Wednesday evening at the Konya Municipality Stadium.
The match was held as part of Palestine Day events, and the club's management distributed Palestinian flags throughout the stadium.
Egyptian star Mostafa Mohamed, Konyaspor's striker, appeared wearing a shirt featuring the Palestinian flag on the sidelines of the friendly match.
Konyaspor fans also raised images during the match highlighting journalists and athletes killed in Gaza, under the slogans "Journalism is not a crime" and "Israel killed 1,014 athletes in Palestine."
The friendly match ended in a 2-2 draw.
Mohammad Sandouqa scored both goals for the Palestine team, while Konyaspor striker Mostafa Mohamed managed to score one goal for his team.
Player Mohammad Deiri was also present and received the captain's armband after a long absence from the pitches during his treatment journey to recover from cancer.
The senior Palestine national team is currently in China to participate in an international friendly tournament that includes New Zealand, Tajikistan, and China.
The Palestine team drew 2-2 with New Zealand in the first match.
They won 4-2 against Tajikistan in the second match of the friendly tournament.
They are preparing to face the Chinese national team in the final match for the Palestine team during the current international break.
