The former Liverpool winger continued his statements: "This is the beginning; I hope we continue on the same path. God willing, we will not fall short toward ourselves."
The Egyptian star went on to say: "I hope we achieve titles in the coming period."
The Egyptian national team had returned to Cairo yesterday morning, Friday, after the end of its campaign in the 2026 World Cup.
Salah scored a single goal in the 2026 World Cup, which came in the Pharaohs' 3-1 victory over New Zealand in the group stage, second matchday.
