Mohamed El-Shazly, Media Advisor to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, revealed that the crisis between Mohamed Salah, captain of the Egyptian national team, and the technical staff led by Hossam Hassan has ended.

The most recent training camp for the Egyptian national team witnessed a dispute between Mohamed Salah and the technical staff following the match against Angola in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Mohamed El-Shazly stated on Modern Mti channel: "Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhy was present at yesterday's match between Egypt and South Africa, and spoke with Hany Abo Rida, president of the Football Association, about the necessity of calming the atmosphere within the Egyptian national team and restoring its spirit, as happened during the World Cup."

He added: "The Minister of Sports asked Hany Abo Rida to forget what happened during the last camp so that it would not affect the upcoming commitments of the Egyptian national team."

He emphasized: "The Minister of Sports confirmed in his conversation with Hany Abo Rida that there is an obligatory path that no one can deviate from, which is calmness and discipline, to restore the spirit of the Egyptian national team."

He concluded: "There is no longer a crisis between Mohamed Salah and the Egyptian national team staff, and he will be present normally in the next November camp."

Mohamed Salah missed the two matches of the Egyptian national team against South Sudan in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, and the friendly match against South Africa.

The Egyptian national team will play against Malawi on October 11th, in the third round of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
