The Egyptian Football Association has announced the appointment of Mahmoud Naji as the referee for the match between Al-Ahly and Sharqia Enppi.
Al-Ahly will face Sharqia Enppi at Cairo Stadium tomorrow, Sunday, in the first round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Naji will serve as the main referee, assisted by Samir Gamal and Mohamed Magdy Suleiman.
Hisham El-Kadi will act as the fourth official.
The video assistant referee (VAR) duties will be handled by Khaled Gamal El-Ghandour, assisted by El-Sayed Shaaban.
Naji officiated four matches involving Al-Ahly last season against Smouha, Enppi, Haras El-Hodoud, and National Bank of Egypt; during these games, the team won three times and drew once with National Bank of Egypt.
Meanwhile, Naji refereed four matches involving Enppi, during which the team failed to secure any victories.
Al-Ahly finished third in the Egyptian Premier League standings last season, while Enppi ended the league in sixth place.
