Then Egypt is in third place with 3 points from one match.
Tunisia is also in third place with two points from two matches, followed by Morocco with one point from one match, and finally Libya at the bottom of the table with no points after losing their first two matches.
Morocco achieved victory over Algeria 3-1 in the third round earlier today.
The top two teams qualify directly for the Africa Cup of Nations scheduled to be held in Ghana next year.
