Cristiano Ronaldo did not participate in Sunday evening's match between Portugal and Norway, remaining on the bench throughout the game due to a decision by coach Jorge Jesus, which caused anger for the captain of the "European Brazil."
Ronaldo met with the president of the Portuguese Football Federation and Jesus, and the issue was resolved among all parties.

However, hours ago, a video circulated documenting Cristiano Ronaldo's departure from the Portugal national team training facility following coach Jorge Jesus's press conference.
Cristiano Ronaldo issued a strong statement via his official account on the social media platform "Instagram," hinting at his international retirement, (click here for details).
According to the Spanish newspaper "Marca," Cristiano Ronaldo never demanded to play in every Portugal national team match in the Nations League.
It reported that the agreement stipulated his participation in two out of four matches during this international break, and he had agreed to this without objection.
It mentioned that the problem stemmed from Jorge Jesus's statement that he would play in the next two matches, followed by a later reversal of that decision.
It emphasized that Cristiano felt exploited and disrespected by the federation, which had asked him not to retire and promised him full respect until 2027.
It clarified that Cristiano Ronaldo had planned to retire internationally after the 2026 World Cup, but the Portuguese federation asked him to stay, so he eventually agreed.
It concluded that Ronaldo feels sad about how things ended, but the idea of leaving the national team had already been on his mind before.
