A source at Zamalek Club revealed that the Moroccan Jamal Al-Salami, the former technical director of the Jordan national team, is a candidate to coach the White Castle in the next season.
Ahmed Suleiman, a member of the Zamalek board of directors, had hinted in previous statements that the White Knight would contract with a foreign technical director.

The source told Yalla Koura: "So far, no agreement has been reached on the new technical director for Zamalek Club".
He added: "Alexander Santos was the most prominent candidate to coach Zamalek, but the club's football management did not reach a final agreement with him due to some financial matters before the Portuguese coach signed with Kuwait Club".
He continued: "John Edward is working on other options after the failure of negotiations with Santos in order to settle the file of the new technical director"
He continued: "The Moroccan technical director Jamal Salami is on the radar of Zamalek Club after his departure from coaching the Jordan national team".
He stressed: "Mu'tamad Jamal is still in the picture to complete his mission in case of failure to contract with a foreign coach, but no contact has been made with him by the football management to settle his position until this moment".
