Ahmed Suleiman, a member of the board of directors of Zamalek Club, sparked widespread controversy after hinting at the possibility of contracting with a foreign coach.

Speculations are increasing about the fate of Moatamed Gamal with Zamalek despite winning the Premier League title last season.

It seems that there is a desire among the Zamalek board of directors to appoint a foreign coach for the White Castle before the next season.

Portuguese Alexandre Santos is one of the candidates to coach Zamalek, noting that he worked as an assistant to Peseiro at Al Ahly during the 2015-2016 season.

Ahmed Suleiman was asked during his appearance on "MBC Egypt" channel whether Alexandre Santos would be the coach of Zamalek Club, to which he replied, saying: "It seems like there will be a foreign coach."

He added: "There are Zamalek fans on social media, when they write something, I know it's true, so Santos might be Zamalek's coach."

He continued: "There are people on social media who know such decisions early."

He added: "Zamalek won the league, and there are other people being praised while Moatamed Gamal, the achiever, is being ignored."
