The Ismaili Club, under the presidency of Mr. Mohamed Raef, announced taking an important step as part of its preparations for the new sports season 2026/2027.
The Dervishes clarified that, as part of the serious preparations for the new season, Mr. Mohamed Raef, head of the committee tasked with managing the Ismaili Club, held an important meeting today with Khaled El-Qamash, the technical director of the first football team.
The meeting coincided with the conclusion of the preparation period, which was completed successfully in full accordance with the technical program prepared in advance.
The meeting included Captain Khaled El-Qamash presenting his comprehensive technical vision, along with an assessment of the needs of the first football team during the upcoming phase.
In a stance reflecting his dedication and loyalty to the club, El-Qamash confirmed that he had successfully completed his mission during the preparation period, preferring to limit himself to this role and giving the administration the opportunity to select the most suitable technical staff to continue the team’s journey, based on his firm conviction that the interest of the Ismaili Club takes precedence over any other consideration.
For his part, Mr. Mohamed Raef valued this responsible and noble stance, expressing the club administration’s sincere appreciation for the great efforts exerted by Captain Khaled El-Qamash throughout the preparation period.
The head of the committee praised El-Qamash’s extensive experience and clear commitment, affirming that what he has offered is nothing new for one of the club’s loyal sons and prominent sporting figures.
In a desire to benefit from his extensive experience and technical vision, it was decided to assign Captain Khaled El-Qamash to join the club’s technical committee to provide advisory support and technical opinion, and to assist the committee tasked with managing the club in various technical aspects.
