Press reports revealed the absence of Spaniard Ferran Torres, striker of Barcelona's first football team, from the Catalan club's training sessions amid news of his departure to French side Paris Saint-Germain during the current summer transfer window.
Previous press reports had confirmed Paris Saint-Germain's desire to sign the Spanish striker during the ongoing summer transfer period to bolster the squad.
Ferran Torres criticized Barcelona's management for not showing any desire to renew his contract so far, after which, according to most Spanish newspaper reports, the Spain international striker decided he wanted to join Paris Saint-Germain.

According to the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Ferran Torres is absent from Barcelona training in preparation for his move to Paris Saint-Germain.
It added that an agreement between the player and the French club is now very close and the deal is expected to be finalized in the coming hours.
Hans Flick's men are preparing to face Swiss side Basel on August 16 at Jacob Park Stadium at 5:30 p.m. Cairo and Mecca time.
